Hongming Wang is a research associate at the Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS), Hitotsubashi University. He has studied payment regulaitons in health insurance markets and the impacts of insurance expansions for low-income adults and children. He is more broadly interested in how policies impact individuals and firms in regulated industries such as healthcare.
